Network of Cool is the first prediction market to tap into the insights and mindset of Generation Y. The Network engages 18-to-24 year olds in a market-based game where Network members can wager virtual money on trends related to current events, entertainment, culture, technology and other topical issues.

Through a game-based prediction market, Network of Cool’s mission is to uncover and reward the most accurate 18-to-24 year old cool hunters and provide insight and analysis to marketers and organizations looking to better understand this audience.
Network of Cool is a private, handpicked network of diverse 18-to-24 year olds who actively participate in a series of prediction games. For each prediction, the network virtually bets on a given question and forecasts the outcome. The top performers win prizes for correct and close predictions and are incentivized to continually participate in the game. The best, coolest performers – the participants who can best spot and predict trends – rise to the top of the scoreboard.

Network of Cool is a new, unique way to research and learn about what makes Generation Y tick, producing valuable insight and analysis directly from the source. Network of Cool launched in Fall 2009 and is powered by advanced prediction market technology from Crowdcast.
