Network of Cool provides several research services to marketers and organizations looking to tap into the collective mindset of 18-to-24 year olds and college students. The Network uses prediction market methodology to gain insight from its participants. This approach, which we call “active research,” goes beyond static survey-based approaches to combine insight and demographics with a third key element: credibility. We determine credibility based on the continual performance of the participants in the market. Higher-scoring participants have consistently demonstrated the ability to closely predict the outcome of specific trends and issues. Only through the Network of Cool can you reach these high-scorers (our “coolest” members) to garner new insights and market information.

We work with marketers to create custom questions that best suit the advantages of a prediction-based research system. The best performing questions are tied to specific future outcomes and ultimately help our clients better forecast trends and developments.
